Fishing Index-Fishing Weather is an iPhone app designed to assist fishermen in fishing more scientifically and reasonably. The app recognizes that fish activities are influenced by various weather conditions, with water temperature and atmospheric pressure being the most significant factors. Higher atmospheric pressure leads to higher dissolved oxygen in the water, resulting in more active fish. Wind speed and direction also play a crucial role, as a gentle breeze increases water oxygen levels, while specific wind directions favor fishing. Additionally, rainfall and humidity have an impact on fishing.

The app provides hourly weather forecasts for ten days, including sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, and moon phase information. It also calculates the Fishing Index per hour and offers a Solunar Table. Users can access global tidal forecasts, tide analysis, and wave forecasts.

For enhanced features, users have the option to purchase the Fishing Index Membership. This subscription includes a 10-day, 24-hour fishing weather forecast, daily and monthly analysis and prediction, fishing index analysis and calculation, tidal analysis and prediction, and wave forecasts.
